Watching the partners
watch the brand

A global entertainment brand licenses its TV channels and content to broadcast partners around the world. Licensing contracts say what partners may air and how. Nobody could verify what was actually airing. We designed the system that could.

The problem shape

Dozens of partners, multiple continents, two fundamentally different feed types: on-demand libraries that can be pulled and inventoried, and live linear channels that exist only in the moment they air. Compliance questions ranged from branding and edit integrity to territorial rights. Manual spot-checking covered a fraction of a percent.

The system

  • Two capture archetypes. Scheduled pulls for on-demand catalogs; timed recording windows for live streams, so linear channels leave a reviewable trace.
  • Review tooling. A purpose-built review interface where captured material is checked against contractual terms, with structured findings instead of loose notes.
  • Evidence trails. Every finding tied to a capture, a timestamp and a contract clause: the difference between a complaint and a case.

PATTERN

Contract-to-reality gap

Licensing, franchising, distribution, white-label: wherever partners operate your brand, the same gap exists between what was agreed and what happens. Monitoring closes it.

LEVERAGE

Coverage without headcount

Automated capture watches everything all the time; humans review the exceptions. The inverse of how compliance teams usually drown.

"A contract you cannot verify is a suggestion."

Do your partners keep their promises?

If you license, franchise or distribute through others, the honest answer is "we do not know". That is buildable.
